Christie Brinkley is indulging her passion for gardening during the coronavirus lockdown.

On Sunday the 66-year-old gave an update on some of the work she’s been doing on the grounds of her beautiful $29 million Bridgehampton estate.

‘Hope you’re all blooming where you’re planted! Happy Sunday from my #quaranteam to yours!’ she wrote in the caption of an album of snaps including a selfie of the mother-of-three peering over a fence.

The Vegas Vacation star looked youthful with a slick of pink lip gloss and her blonde locks in pigtails.

Christie also shared progress on her ‘Victory garden’ where she plans to plant farm stand flowers and organic vegetables.

The model uploaded an album of snaps of the plot of land she’s been working on with son Jack, 24 and also encouraged her followers to get gardening.

‘There is nothing like getting your hands in the earth to reduce stress and anxiety that’s naturally present in a global pandemic of COVID-19.

‘Even if you only have room for flower pots on your window sill , nurturing nature nurtures your soul. And I highly recommend it.’ she wrote.

Meanwhile, Christie is donating 30 percent of online sales of her Bellissima Prosecco brand to buy PPE for health workers on the frontline of the COVID-19 battle.

Last week she explained to Extra that she’s working with an organisation called Direct Relief to facilitate the process.

‘They’re doing a great job of mobilising and getting them masks … all of the stuff they need to stay safe so that they can work to protect us.
