Simon Cowell wears an inflatable suit on aeroplanes to protect himself from germs.
Friend and former flame Sinitta said she bought the blow-up contraptions for herself and the X Factor boss long before the coronavirus pandemic took hold.
The singer, 56, told The Daily Star Sunday the germaphobes also take a packet of wet wipes to clean their seats before they fly.

She said: ‘We wear pyjamas. And I got us our own flying suits, which are inflatable. They are actual outfits that we wear on the plane, which are like shellsuits.
‘They cover your hands and have in-built pillows and masks for your eyes, so you don’t have to touch or come into contact with anything.
‘We still wipe everything down before we sit down in our travel suits. It is quite funny, but we don’t care how crazy we look as Simon and I are silly anyway.’

The inflatable suits are designed so the wearers do not have to touch any surfaces when travelling.
Despite her precautions, Sinitta contracted coronavirus nine days before the country went into lockdown when performing at a gig in London.
The singer said that ex Simon knew that she had fallen ill with the virus because of their ‘psychic’ connection.

The star had been seen taking extra precaution when out and about and always sported a protective face mask, until she decided to perform at her gig wearing nothing but lingerie, stockings and suspenders.
She said the virus felt like she had ‘swallowed a packet of razor blades’.
Meanwhile, Simon was forced to be tested for the deadly coronavirus after fellow America’s Got Talent judge Heidi Klum fell ill on set.
