It’s been an eventful weekend for Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt, as news broke on Saturday that the couple are expecting their first baby together.
And earlier that day, the 30-year-old daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver took a gentle bike ride, with Katherine seen atop a sturdy mountain bike in Brentwood, California.
Katherine’s Guardians Of The Galaxy star husband, 40, was trailing on his own bike not far behind, equipped with an American flag-style face mask as protection against the current coronavirus pandemic still sweeping the nation.

Katherine wore a loose-fitting white T-shirt decorated with two hearts, revealing her bump beneath it as she cycled along in the wind.
The author paired the shirt with black leggings and a matching black baseball cap, and wore comfy-looking sneakers.
Chris biked around in grey gym shorts and a black t-shirt featuring a ‘hamsa’ dove and hand symbol of peace, in the colors of red, gold and green.
He completed his athletic day look with a white baseball hat, and black sneakers.

The couple, who were later seen continuing their bike ride in the Santa Monica area, both wore rounded dark sunglasses.
Earlier on Saturday, multiple sources reported that the pair, who wed last June in Montecito, California, are expecting a baby, after previously stating that they were looking to ‘expand their family as soon as possible’ after getting married.
This is the first child for Katherine, while Chris is dad to seven-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Anna Faris.
It was previously reported that Schwarzenegger was very taken with Pratt’s parenting skills with regard to his son Jack.
‘Katherine is like a big kid and loves doing activities with Jack,’ a source told People in January of 2019. ‘She loves that Chris is a dad.
‘Seeing Chris with Jack made Katherine positive from early on that Chris is ‘the one,’ the insider added.

Chris, for his part, has also admitted his wife will make ‘a great mum one day.’
The Jurassic World actor said: ‘She has changed my life for the better in so many ways. My heart, my soul, my son I feel are all so safe with her. She’s a great step mum. She’s, God willing, going to be a great mum one day. She’s got great parents, great siblings, she fills in all my many deficits.’
Chris’ comments about future family plans for himself and Katherine came after Katherine’s father Arnold recently said he is ‘looking forward’ to becoming a grandfather, but isn’t ‘pushing’ the pair to have kids.
He explained: ‘I don’t push it because I know it’s going to happen eventually. It’s up to Chris and her when they want to do that but I’m looking forward it to, yes.’
Schwarzenegger and Pratt began dating in the summer of 2018, before Chris popped the question in January of the following year.
