Gemma Collins left her fans ‘crying with laughter’ as her new reality series, Diva On Lockdown, premiered on ITVBe on Sunday evening.

The former TOWIE star, 39, showcased her signature persona as she documented her life two weeks before the UK’s coronavirus lockdown.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their amusement at the TV star’s typically hilarious quips as she accidentally called Prince Charles ‘Chiles’, flirted with a bathroom salesman and claimed she predicted the COVID-19 economic crash.

Kicking off the series with the show, the media personality was over the moon as she attended a meeting to discuss her new project.

The CBB star insisted she’s considering ditching her ‘diva’ brand, admitting: ‘I’m a bit concerned about the show because I’m not a diva anymore, I’m a humanitarian, like Khloe Kardashian. I can’t have anyone around me with bad energy.

‘Maybe we should call the show Blonde Ambition?’, she asked her team of business partners.

The GC later treated fans to a look at her preparations for the The Prince’s Trust Awards, which took place in March.

Gemma insisted she’s ‘in love’ with the ceremony’s host, Prince Charles, but raised eyebrows when she called The Prince of Wales ‘Chiles’.
