Dave Hughes had a miraculous reunion with his cat on Sunday. 

The moggie had been missing since Friday night before being found by the comedian’s daughter in a bush. 

Alongside an Instagram photo in which he’s holding the white cat, the 49-year-old wrote: ‘WE FOUND TEDDY.

‘During another long search 7yo Tess heard a meow and we followed it to a shrub in a neighbours front yard!’

Earlier that day, Dave shared another photo of the chubby kitty and explained he’d not been seen for three days. 

Dave wrote: ‘Much loved 14yo Teddy has been missing from St Kilda/Elwood beach side border area since Friday night.

‘He has different coloured eyes and is slightly overweight. He may still be annoyed about arrival of his younger and thinner step siblings. DM if you see him please.’

It comes after Dave told Daily Mail Australia that he’d updated his teeth with a new set of veneers.  

Two years ago, his own wife said he was ‘starting to look like a meth addict’ with 10 teeth missing.

The comedian said: ‘I have had one tooth put back in towards the front. I was looking too much like a crackhead, basically.’

In 2018, Dave revealed that drinking too much orange juice growing up had contributed to his teeth falling out. 

Dave added that a vegan diet and eating ‘really clean’ has improved his oral health.
