Jessika Power says she hasn’t had a real job since Married At First Sight aired

‘I haven’t had a job since the show!’ Former Married At First Sight star Jessika Power says she makes a VERY good living as an Instagram influencer

She was arguably the breakout star from last year’s blockbuster season of Married At First Sight.

And more than a year since her season aired, Jessika Power claims that she’s still making a lucrative living off of sponsored social media posts.

On Saturday, the 28-year-old admitted that she hadn’t worked a normal job since MAFS, and now makes a full time living as an Instagram influencer.

Working girl! Married At First Sight’s Jessika Power revealed that she’s still working as a full time Instagram influencer, more than one year after her season went off air

‘No, I do not have another job other than Instagram,’ she revealed.

‘I earn all my money from Instagram, I earn a really good penny from Instagram,’ she continued.

‘I do not give you guys s**t products to buy though. I am constantly trialing new products from brands that want me to promote on my Instagram for them.’

Jessika is far from the only cast member from her season of MAFS to earn a living off social media, with almost half of her former co-stars now working as full time influencers.

Martha Kalifatidis, Michael Brunelli, Jules Robinson, Cam Merchant, Melissa Lucarelli, Cyrell Paule, and Elizabeth Sobinoff are all earning big bucks off Instagram.

Unfortunately, the stars from season seven of MAFS haven’t been as fortunate when it comes to influencing.

Due to the negative feedback the season saw and decline in ratings, the majority of this year’s participants were unable to hit 100,000 followers on Instagram.

In March, an insider told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Several cast members quit their jobs and have been banking on making it as influencers, certain it would happen overnight.

‘They expected to have a lot more followers than they do, and are now concerned they won’t get enough to sustain a full-time living through sponsored posts.’
