Richard Madeley, 63, flaunts his new bleached blonde locks as he becomes the latest celebrity to style his own hair amid the coronavirus lockdown

Dozens of celebrities have taken to styling their own hair amid the coronavirus lockdown.

And Richard Madeley was the latest to flaunt his new look as he debuted his bleached blonde locks in London on Thursday. 

The TV personality, 63, cut a casual figure in a pared-down outfit of a powder blue T-shirt, shorts and sandals.

His striking new locks flopped loosely to frame his face which was complemented by a touch of rugged stubble.

The former Richard and Judy host finished his appearance with a backpack and pair of sunglasses tucked into his collar.

Richard maintained a distance of two metres from those around him as he stepped out to drop a letter into a postbox while clutching a red solo cup.

The duo, who fronted the ITV daytime show between 1988 and 2001, had been filling in for Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford. 

Fans declared how pleased they were to see the couple back on the show as some remarked it was ‘surreal’ and that they had ‘gone back in time.’

Later in the show, the duo fronted the game show It’s Behind You, in which contestants had to describe an image behind the pair and they had to guess. 

But a delay that occurred during the game and the couple struggling to hear players on the phone resulted in a hilarious display.

Taking to Twitter, fans were quick to comment on the ‘painful’ game, with one even declaring that the pair shouldn’t play it ever again.
