It comes after Gogglebox Australia recently celebrated 100 episodes of the show.

It is a huge milestone for the reality series, that was initially doubted for so many, including the cast.

While reflecting on the past five years of filming on Wednesday, multiple long time stars explained they had to deal with their own and their loved ones’ doubts that it was just ‘people watching people watching television’.

Fan favourites Lee and Keith revealed they thought the show would be very short-lived.

‘What did I think? “Oh, it will last an episode and then we don’t have to worry about it”,’ Lee, 59, recalled.

Holding up his beer, 60-year-old Keith added: ‘And we’re still going magnificent Here’s cheers to 100. Here’s cheers to another 100.’

The beloved pair recently told TV Blackbox that they had initially turned down the casting agent.

Foxtel declined to comment when contacted by Daily Mail Australia on Friday. DMA has also contacted representatives of Jackie O for comment in relation to this article.
