Lincoln Lewis is GHOSTED by Home and Away producers after asking for his job back and ‘pitching a storyline’
He played teenage heartthrob Geoff Campbell on Home and Away more than a decade ago.
And Lincoln Lewis was apparently so keen to reprise his role on the Channel Seven soap that he ‘begged’ producers for his role back.
‘I actually pitched a storyline for the Home and Away producers at the start of the year about reprising Geoff, but they ghosted me!’ he said on Friday.

Lincoln made the admission during a interview with Neighbours star Takaya Honda on his Tak Talks YouTube series.
He continued: ‘But it is what it is. That’s the industry. That’s just like going for an audition. You don’t hear back. That’s the way it goes.’
Lincoln played Geoff Campbell, a student missionary, in 567 episodes of the Logie-winning series between 2007 and 2010.
He recently shared a gallery of throwback photos to Instagram from his years in Summer Bay.

‘I was lucky enough to have to work on such an iconic Australian show with this legendary lot,’ he wrote in the caption.
‘Working on gigs can be quite few and far between for a lot of us in the industry, even more so in the current circumstances.’
The Tomorrow, When The War Began actor is taking acting classes after his post-Home and Away career didn’t live up to his expectations.

Spin off? Over on his Instagram stories, Lincoln and his former co-star Todd Lasance, who played Aden Jefferies on the series between 2005-2010 have been plotting a spin-off series of their own – with Lincoln joking that Aden should have been with Lincoln’s character Geoff
‘To be honest the last 18 months or two years have been a bit slower,’ Lincoln told Sydney’s The Daily Telegraph in June 2019.
‘I know what it’s like to not work and I’m trying to stay fresh and do classes, but I just want to get back on set.’
Lincoln is open to both film and television roles because ‘TV just keeps getting better and better’ and is ‘competing with some of the best films’.
