Ireland Baldwin revealed on Instagram this Wednesday that she is a fostering a sweet puppy called Pieces.

Amid the coronavirus lockdown many Americans are fostering animals, giving themselves company and simultaneously reducing the strain on shelters.

And the 24-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin is one of them, she announced to her more than half a million Instagram followers.

Ireland introduced Pieces to her fans in a heart-melting selfie in which she cradled the little pooch against her face.

She captioned that Pieces was ‘my new little foster baby!! her name is Pieces and she’s the sweetest baby girl in the world.’

Ireland added that she ‘loves playing with my big dogs and it’s only been a couple hours!!! she’s looking for her forever home’.

She made sure to tag Wags And Walks, the Los Angeles dog rescue from which she brought little Pieces into her home.

The model’s household includes a dachshund called Chicken and two larger dogs called London and Kurt, among others. 

His current wife Hilaria Baldwin is now pregnant with the couple’s fifth child after suffering two miscarriages last year.

Hilaria wrote on Instagram last year that she herself has ‘gotten involved with rescue operations to bring foster dogs into our home to show them love.’
