Fans were left amused after billowing smoke flooded the kitchen during Tuesday’s episode of MasterChef: The Professionals. 

The smog took over the room the contestants fired up a Japanese hibachi grill to make prawns.

At the same time, they were pan-frying crumpets, occasionally with some charred results.

The resulting fumes left fans at home very amused with several taking to Twitter to joke about the situation.
