Halsey looks overjoyed to be out as she makes a visit with her laptop in tow to work on music

As the prolonged stay-at-home order in Los Angeles County eases into a second month, the opportunity to break the tedium of isolation is a rare one.

And Halsey looked duly overjoyed to be out and about on Monday, as she was spotted in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of LA heading to visit a friend or associate, presumably to work on music.

The Without Me singer, 25, smiled as she made her way, clutching her laptop in her arms along with an apple. 

The Edison, New Jersey-born Grammy nominee was dressed in a shredded striped sweater and baggy dark jeans.

She had large white berets in her hair on either side of her head, holding in place a pair of pigtail buns.  

On her feet, Halsey wore white trainers.

The sighting comes just two days before the performer is set to virtually join Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, SZA, and more artists for the Jersey 4 Jersey Benefit Show livestream.

The event, sponsored by the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, will be a one-night-only broadcast fundraiser to fight the negative impact of the pandemic on New Jersey’s most vulnerable communities.

And that’s not the only way Halsey has been getting involved in giving back in light of these difficult times –– she has also donated protective masks to frontline healthcare workers as well as given money to support specific communities in need. 

But between her good works, the Bad At Love hitmaker has been enjoying spending time in the garden at her LA home while self-isolating, as evidenced by an update last week on Instagram.

Last Tuesday, she posted a mirror selfie in which she was seen posing topless sideways. 

The image showed off the leaf tattoos on her shoulder as well as other inkings on her arms.

She was wearing a floral-themed turban and was made up with black mascara, a touch of blush and red lip color.
