Stassi Schroeder tells fans to ‘send help’ as she bravely reveals psoriasis breakout on her face

Stassi Schroder is having some bad luck during quarantine.

The Vanderpump Rules star took to Instagram to reveal how recently she’s been suffering a psoriasis breakout on her face.

‘Send help,’ the 31-year-old reality star captioned the candid selfie.

Stassi, who was cozied up in a grey sweatshirt, appeared to be tending to the redness on her face with some undereye patches.

The psoriasis breakouts – which see skin cells pile up to form an irritating rash – can often be sparked by stress, so the anxiety of quarantine certainly can’t be helping.

Other celebs that suffer from psoriasis include Kim Kardashian, mom Kris Jenner, model Cara Delevingne, songstress Cyndi Lauper, and country crooner LeAnn Rimes.

Stassi talked about like with the skin condition with Today in 2018, revealing she first started experiencing symptoms back in 2012. 

‘There’s really no way to control it and it comes and goes whenever it pleases,’ she explained. ‘It’s like a douche-y boyfriend. You know what I mean? Right now, if you wiped away all of my makeup, you would see red patches all over my face.’

She advised people dealing with psoriasis to be calm about the situation, since stress only intensifies symptoms. 

‘The advice I would give to anyone who has psoriasis is to let go of any anxiety about it because there’s nothing you can do,’ she said. ‘If you stress about it, it’s only going to make it worse because it’s brought on by stress a lot of the time. And what’s the point? You’re just going to be miserable.’ 

‘You just have to embrace the fact that this is one of your imperfections and that things could be so much worse. I struggle with how I feel about my skin and my face because it’s obviously frustrating.’

Stassi has been in quarantine with fiance Beau Clark since LA shut down around mid-March.

The star tweeted about post-lockdown life earlier this week, joking about how tough it will be to party once things shift back to normal.

‘I don’t even think I know how to socialize anymore. Once this is over, I’m going to be so weird at parties,’ she joked.

Earlier this month Stassi shared a bit about her quarantine uniform, telling fans: ‘I haven’t worn a bra in almost a month now. So gonna need another breast lift ASAP.’

In 2015 the reality star underwent breast reduction and lift surgery and said it was the best decision she ever made.
