Dani Dyer sports a floral bikini as she drinks a pint of beer in sun-kissed throwback snap

She left fans baffled after appearing to be splitting her time between her parents’ house and her own flat amid the ongoing UK lockdown.

And Dani Dyer appeared carefree on Monday as she shared a sun-kissed throwback snap from before she went into the Love Island villa on her Instagram page.

The reality star, 24, was sporting a white floral bikini as she sipped a pint of beer while sitting on a deck chair.

To accompany the photo, she wrote: ‘Went back on old photos and this is what I was doing during lock down before going into the Love Island Villa.

‘Drinking beer and getting as tanned as possible. CLASSY!’

Before contestants enter the villa in Majorca they remain on a ‘lockdown’ where they are unable to socialise with each other and are accompanied by a chaperone at all times.

Dani’s caramel locks were pulled into a voluminous bun and her bikini straps were left down to avoid tan lines.

Love Island star Sam Gowland asked the beauty: ‘How was u aloud to drink on lockdown ? I was barely aloud out me room.’

To which she left a series of laughing emojis and teased: ‘That’s what happens when you have a good chaperone.’

Dani went on to win the show in the summer of 2018 after her romance with former pen salesman ex-boyfriend Jack Fincham, 28, won the heart of the nation.

The pre-Love Island villa lockdown was not the first where Dani has appeared to be bending the rules.

The reality star has been self isolating with her on-off boyfriend Sammy Kimmnce after he ‘begged’ her to spend more time with him.

But Dani has been continuing to post photos on her Instagram from her parents’ house which is a short distance from her own.

Visiting family members is strictly prohibited during this time and her posts have left fans angered with one saying: ‘It’s frustrating that others don’t seem to think the rules apply to them.’

Last week, the Love Island star posted snaps from EastEnders actor dad Danny and mum Jo’s home and just hours later, she posted an Instagram message telling fans to ‘stay indoors’.

She added: ‘Please listen, it’s so important.’

MailOnline reached out to Dani’s representatives for comment at the time.

Three days after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the lockdown she shared a TikTok video alongside her mum.

A second video from March 29 showed Dani enjoying a roast dinner at her parents’ home which is a short drive from her own.

Last weekend, the beauty shared an image to her Story that appear to show herself and Sammy at their home enjoying a milkshake.

Her decision to isolate with her ex came as a surprise to fans.

The TV personality and her on-off beau called time on their romance in early March after Sammy appeared in court accused of scamming two elderly men out of £34,000 by posing as a financial investor.

A source told The Sun Sammy ‘begged’ the reality star to spend time with him leading up to the government enforced lockdown last month.

The insider revealed: ‘Dani and Sammy’s split was a shock but she felt the trust had gone and that he was bringing her down.

‘Sammy wasn’t going to let her walk out of his life without a fight and begged her to spend some time with him.

‘Since going into lockdown, Sammy has been pulling out all the stops to make Dani give their relationship a second chance.’

Apparently the couple have now moved on from their blazing rows and are enjoying a more pleasant relationship.

Dani dated Sammy for a year before she joined Love Island, which she won with Jack Fincham in 2018.

After Sammy appeared in court last month the Essex beauty unfollowed him social media and untagged him from photos on her Instagram account.

A source told MailOnline at the time: ‘Dani has called time on things. Sam’s impending court case put a lot of strain on their relationship.’
