Stacey was in the kitchen of her London flat whist talking to host Matt Tebbutt, 46,  before beckoning over to the dancing pro, 38, and asking: ‘Come day hello.’

The back drop showed a clean white kitchen with modern minimalist fittings including stylish hanging lights over their breakfast bar.

Stacey donned a black jumper and her usual gold hoop earrings.

She leant into the camera and teased, ‘he’s panicking he looks scruffy.’

Kevin appeared in a grey hoodie and joggers looking as though he had just woken up, he said: ‘My mum’s gonna kill me if I’m on your show looking like this.’

Matt then teased: ‘Yeah she’s right. Make an effort then lad!’ followed by a giggle.

Stacey confessed: ‘We’ve been like a pair of students, getting up late, I’ve got to get some kind of routine back in this household.’

The TV chef then retorted: ‘I liked it earlier Stace when you said you have your own corner of the fridge, that sounded very student like’

She replied: ‘That’s where we are, you have your own shelf. If anyone goes near your shelf it all kicks off’

The broadcaster recently revealed she resisted falling for Kevin at first, because she thought it was ‘cheesy.’

Talking to BBC Radio 5’s Headliners podcast, the documentary maker insisted they got together after the show.

She said: ‘I didn’t want to be such a cliche — it’s so cringe and cheesy. I want to be cooler than this. Kev and I were pals for such a long time.

‘I liked hanging out with him. So it was much later down the line for us.’
