Lily Allen shares sweet rare snap with daughter Marnie as she prepares to start homeschooling again after the Easter break

Lily Allen was seen preparing herself to kick off homeschooling again, after enjoying the Easter break with her children during the coronavirus lockdown.

The singer, 34, shared a sweet snap of herself and her youngest daughter Marnie, seven, cuddling up together to Instagram on Sunday, as she marked the last day of the school holiday.

And while Lily looked pretty relaxed at the thought of starting homeschooling again, little Marnie didn’t look so keen as she hilariously pulled a face for the camera.

Lily wrote alongside her snap: ‘Back2Homeschool.’

The Smile hit-maker is also mum to daughter Ethel, eight, and shares both her girls with ex-husband Sam Cooper.

Lily has been sharing rare snaps of her children during their time together in lockdown and a few weeks ago, when the restrictions by the UK government were first put in place, she joked she had ‘aged 10 years’ in the first few days of being at home.

Posing with both Ethel and Marnie, Lily told fans via Instagram: ‘I’ve aged 10 years in as many days.’

She also shared how she was feeling during the current pandemic and admitted she was ‘scared’.

Lily said: ‘I’m tired and scared, but while we’re stuck inside for reasons beyond our control, it’s worth reminding ourselves that many families are driven FROM their homes, for a multitude of reasons, financial burdens, war, domestic violence, or even climate change.

‘We are very lucky really.’

In January 2019, Lily confirmed she had officially divorced Sam, two years after revealing their split. The pair first began dating in 2009 and later tied the knot in 2011.

Lily confirmed the official end of the pair’s five-year marriage in a candid interview on Loose Women.

The star said she shares a ‘very friendly’ relationship with Sam, and the pair have an unconventional custody agreement, where they take their daughters for alternative weeks at a time.

Lily said: ‘Me and my ex-husband share custody, a week on and a week off, which is useful for my work, when he’s got them, I can do that.’

She is now dating Stranger Things star David Harbour who is spending quarantine at home with Lily.
