‘Chandler, When I went to write my vows I found I couldn’t stop writing them,’ she began her lengthy post.

‘I started by sharing all the ways you make my life beautiful and wrote close to a thousand words.’

The Wildlife Warrior went on to say that there is ‘no way to describe genuine, unconditional love’ and said it felt like they’ve ‘been married for years.’

‘We’ve been a team through life’s wonderful highs and difficult lows,’ she said.

Bindi also recalled that her late father Steve Irwin once told her that she couldn’t marry anyone unless they ‘could swim across a croc pond first.’

Steve was 44 when he tragically died tragically died on September 4, 2006 after, a stingray attack at Batt Reef, near Port Douglas, Queensland.

She remarked in her post how Chandler now helps with crocodile demonstrations at the zoo.

Speaking about the moment she realised she had fallen in love with Chandler, it was when he once jumped in the water with a crocodile.

‘They say there’s a moment when you know you’ve fallen in love with someone, for me it was watching you happily jump in the water with a 15 foot crocodile and then tell me how much you enjoyed it.’

She added in part of her post: ‘You are my soulmate. I promise to love you with all my heart through every twist and turn the world brings our way.’

‘You’ve been my best friend for over six years. You’ve made me smile every day since I first met you. That’s amazing and so are you.’

‘My husband, my teammate and partner in conservation. To quote our favourite show, “I love you and I like you”,’ she ended her vows, referencing American sitcom Parks and Recreation.

Bindi and Chandler tied the knot on March 25 at her family zoo just hours after before Prime Minister Scott Morrison enforced restrictions on weddings amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Weddings may be conducted as long as it’s just the couple, the celebrant and two witnesses.

She wrote in a later Instagram that she and Chandler had made the difficult decision to have no guests present at their nuptials to ‘keep everyone safe’ with growing COVID-19 concerns at the time.

Her mother Terri and her younger brother Robert, who walked her down the aisle, were at the ceremony.

Bindi and Chandler’s wedding is set to air on Saturday, April 18 on Animal Planet in the US.
