Ariana Grande gets to work recording a new song in lockdown with the help of her pet pig

She recently wowed her fans with a rendition of I Won’t Say I Am In Love from Hercules as part of ABC’s Disney Family Singalong.

And Ariana Grande, 26, took to the microphone once more on Saturday as she set about recording a new song in lockdown.

The popstar was in good company as she was also joined by her pet pig Piggy Smallz and some of her nine dogs.

Taking to Instagram, the 7 Rings hitmaker shared a snap of herself in her home studio as she stood in front of a recording microphone. 

The star looked fresh-faced as she gazed into the camera, wearing a simple black jumper.

She also shared images of some of her numerous pets, including her adorable pig, whom she and her now ex-fiancé, Pete Davidson adopted in 2018.

In addition, she uploaded pictures of her beloved pooches, including her late ex Mac Miller’s dog Myron, as they posed around her home and amongst her recording equipment in her studio.

The snaps sent the comments into overdrive, with Ariana’s fans excited at the prospect on new music from the singer. 

One fan penned: ‘I’m waiting for u to drop a snippet of what ur recording tomorrow.’

While another asked: ‘Are we getting something?’

‘We would LOVE to hear it’ commented a third fan, with another adding: ‘the studio! can’t wait!!!’ 

It comes after Ariana thrilled her followers as she joined a host of other stars in recreating iconic Disney songs as part of ABC’s one-hour special  Disney Family Singalong.

Music sensations including Beyonce, Josh Groban, Derek Hough and Christina Aguilera took part in the fun-filled special recorded from the comfort of their own homes.
