Love Island’s India Reynolds poses NAKED for PETA

Love Island’s India Reynolds poses NAKED with lettering scrawled on her video in powerful new PETA shoot… as she urges fans to go vegan

She is an avid campaigner for veganism.

And Love Island star India Reynolds has taken her work up a notch as she has taken a starring role in PETA’s new project to urge people to adopt a vegan lifestyle.

The reality beauty and model, 29, turned heads in the striking image, in which she posed naked with lettering scrawled all over body to show the labels on meat.

India certainly took a bold approach in the new shoot, as she gazed into the camera while trussed up in PETA’s classic moving campaign style.

Speaking in conjunction with the campaign, India said: ‘If you wouldn’t eat your dog, why would you eat a cow or a pig? It’s up to us to recognise that in all the ways that really matter, all animals are actually the same…

‘In time, I honestly think we will look back and think that our behaviour towards animals was barbaric’.

The motto of PETA is ‘animals are not ours to eat’, and the organisation notes that animals including chickens, pigs, and cows feel pain and fear, have personalities, and value their own lives, just as humans do.

The groups notes that deadly outbreaks of swine flu, avian flu, SARS, HIV, hoof-and-mouth disease, mad cow disease, and other zoonotic diseases have come from capturing wild animals or farming animals for food.

India joins a long list of high-profile stars, including Lucy Watson, Pamela Anderson, Chris Smalling, Sir Paul McCartney, and Alicia Silverstone, who have posed.
