Diabetic mother-of-three, 37, dies a week after giving birth to her third daughter and days after messaging a friend ‘I feel anxious bringing a child into this mess’

A mother died of coronavirus just days after giving birth to her third child.
Salina Shaw, 37, gave birth to her third daughter on April 7 but died on April 12 after testing positive for the virus, reports The Sun.
She lived a ‘healthy vegan lifestyle’ but did have diabetes, her partner Abdul Bangura said.
The childminder and business owner from Southend, Essex, had posted about her concerns over COVID-19 on social media in the weeks before her death.
Uploading a copy of her baby scan to Facebook on March 18, she wrote: ‘Feeling anxious bringing a child into this mess at the moment’.
It comes as the UK recorded 861 coronavirus-related deaths yesterday, taking the total number of victims to 13,729.

On March 21, the mother-of-three posted a picture of herself claiming she had gone out to buy supplies, but ended up in the park when she saw people failing to observe social distancing.
She wrote: ‘Went to Savers saw the queue… ended up in the park. Social distancing.’
Ms Shaw had also criticised Boris Johnson’s not to ban mass gatherings before he put the country on lockdown on March 23.
Paying tribute to her, Salina’s cousin wrote on Facebook: ‘On Easter Sunday my cousin Salina was taken from this world far too soon.

‘But from this utter sorrow, everyone should know that this lady was a force to be reckoned with, a powerful single mum, with fire in her belly and determination that you would never have seen in anyone.
‘Her smile lit a room as soon as she walked in, always with a little swag and always looking on point!
‘She lived life to the fullest, she took her girls on dream holidays to Jamaica, Dubai, America, the list went on.
‘Sadly, Salina lost her mum after she had only just given birth to her first daughter, who is now almost 18! So she instinctively taught her daughter to follow in her footsteps and to show them how to become independent in their own rights.
‘She adored her own and other children so built a successful childminding business to share hr love and wisdom. A true legend!’
