Demi Lovato was rejected from dating app Raya… as new boyfriend Max Ehrich ‘plans to propose’ 

Demi Lovato has been searching for love, which she might have found with boyfriend Max Ehrich.

But the two-time Grammy nominee hasn’t had the easiest time putting herself out there in the age of online dating.

She recently revealed that she was rejected from Raya, an exclusive dating app that has reportedly been joined by the likes of Channing Tatum, Cara Delevingne, John Mayer and more.

The 27-year-old told Harper’s Bazaar during her May cover interview that she was kicked off after temporarily deleting the app.

She said: ‘I just deleted it out of respect to the person I was with, then we broke up and I went to get back on. 

‘And I was like, “You know what? It’s fine. I don’t need to be on this because I think I’m supposed to be alone right now.”‘ 

Things appear to be getting serious with Ehrich, 28, with whom she’s reportedly been quarantined with, only a month after taking their relationship public. 

A source told Us Weekly: ‘Max plans to propose to Demi after this whole pandemic is resolved and their families wouldn’t be surprised by the proposal. They think they make a great couple.’

But the Sorry Not Sorry artist doesn’t appear to have a firm agenda when it comes to her love life.

Lovato, who identifies as sexually fluid, continued: ‘When I imagine my life in the future, I don’t say, “I’m looking for a man who I want to have two or three kids with.” 

‘I think it could be so much fun to share children with a woman … So I don’t know what my future will look like, and I’m open to anything.’ 

She’s a had a few brief romances since splitting with Wilmer Valderrama, 40, whom she dated from 2010 to 2016.

And the Camp Rock star only had good things to say about her ex, who got engaged to Amanda Pacheco in January.  

She said: ‘I’m really happy for him and I wish him nothing but the best, but we’re not in each other’s lives, haven’t spoken in a long time.

‘But I think I needed that because I needed to learn to be okay on my own. When you get into a relationship with somebody at that young of an age and then you spend six years with somebody, you don’t really get to learn about yourself.’
