Cara De La Hoyde admits she feels ‘robbed’ of enjoying her pregnancy.

The Love Island 2016 winner, who is expecting her second child with husband and fellow finalist Nathan Massey, revealed she was struggling during the global pandemic.

In a candid post to her followers, Cara confessed she feels like she’s missing out on all the best bits of her pregnancy and keeps forgetting she’s got another child on the way in the midst of all of her other worries.

Cara – who also has two-year-old son Freddie-George with Nathan – said: ‘I still keep forgetting that we’ve got another one on the way, and to be honest with you all I’m really not enjoying this pregnancy.

‘It’s probably something that I shouldn’t say out loud but I just wanted to let any other mums to be if their feeling the same way that I am too.

‘I’m sure the mumsbrigade will moan & tell me not to be selfish and I’m lucky to be having and baby and that there is a global crisis going on.

‘And I agree with all the statements but it’s not taking away from the fact that I feel robbed of being able to enjoy this amazing time with my family & friends.

‘Nothing I or anyone can do, just the way it is but thanks for listening & hopefully we might be free again by the time this one is nearly making an appearance’.

The TV star’s followers confessed they had also been experiencing the same thing, missing their families and celebrating major landmarks with their friends.

One follower replied: ‘This is my first baby and I feel exactly the same!! Missing out on so much!! But we will get through it’.

Another posted: ‘It’s so refreshing seeing real mums and mums-to-be online just saying how it is because there’s always someone going through something similar.

‘I feel the same I cancelled my baby shower for next month, haven’t seen my parents now for 6 weeks I just feel like I can’t enjoy my pregnancy the way I should be able to’, another commented.
