Former Married At First Sight star Billy Vincent shows off his budget home gym

‘Check out my new chest press!’ Former MAFS star Billy Vincent shows off his budget home gym in his garage… including ‘$20 worth of cement’ from Bunnings as weights

With gyms forced to close their doors because of the coronavirus pandemic, Billy Vincent has come up with an ingenious way to exercise on a budget.

Posting a series of videos on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the 29-year-old former Married At First Sight star showed off his makeshift home gym.

After laying out an exercise mat on the floor of his garage, Billy then laid on his back and proceeded to lift ‘weights’, made up of a pole and two plastic plant pots filled with cement.

‘Check out my new chest press! This is all you need. $20 from Bunnings,’ he said as he proceeded to get a workout in.

Instead of a weight plates stand, Billy used an old swivel chair to rest his unique barbell on.

‘Can’t find gym gear? $20 of cement,’ he captioned the video, clearly proud of his creation.

He added: ‘Got a garage… got a gym.’

In a separate post on Instagram on Monday, the buff former reality star revealed the coronavirus pandemic had forced him to ‘rediscover new hobbies’.

‘No gym no worries… actually that’s a lie, but in a positive light, it’s been forcing some of us to rediscover new hobbies,’ he wrote.

‘I’m getting back into my water sports, what hobbies have you rediscovered?’

And when he’s not working out, Billy seems to have been binge watching the cult Netflix documentary series, Tiger King, referencing one of the show’s notorious characters, Carole Baskin.

‘What talent have you picked up self isolating, I’m now an expert on conspiracies relating to that b***h Carol Baskins [sic]…’ he wrote on Instagram last week.
