Ariel Winter loads up on essentials during a solo grocery run while wearing a red face mask 

Ariel Winter been enjoying a loved up lockdown with boyfriend and fellow actor Luke Benward.

But the 22-year-old actress ventured out on her own Tuesday afternoon to stock up on essential goods for herself and her new beau at a Gelson’s in Studio City.

Winter followed the advice of L.A. City Mayor Eric Garcetti by choosing to wear a face mask during her errand run.   

The Modern Family alum kept it comfy in a pair of lilac tie-dyed sweats and a vintage inspired Grateful Dead tee. 

She rounded out her ensemble by slipping her feet into a pair of black UGG boots. 

Winter let her auburn tresses flow down naturally from a neat middle part. 

Ariel, who sported a pair of disposable gloves, carried her stuffed shopping bags in her hands as she made her way back to her parked vehicle. 

The actress appeared to pick up various snacks, as well as some highly sought after cleaning supplies. 

Before entering the popular grocery store chain, Ariel stood outside as she texted away.

When she is not braving the open air for essentials, Winter is busy honing her culinary skills for her 24-year-old beau.

On Sunday, she conjured up a delicious ham pot pie for the couple’s Easter dinner, which she showed off on her Instagram Story.

Ariel and Luke also gave fans plenty to fawn over, when they posted a snapshot from their first Easter together.

The couple posed with an elaborate Easter basket that was gifted to them by Luke’s mother in celebration of the Christian holiday. 

Ariel confirmed her relationship with Benward last week, when she shared a candid throwback snapshot of the pair to her Instagram Story. 

The photo showed Ariel and Luke engaging in an intimate giggle session, while the aspiring actor had his had placed on the small of his girlfriend’s back.

The post was part of a photo challenge cycling through the app that urges couples to share the ‘#FirstPhoto’ they ever took together.

Of her picture, Ariel wrote: ‘Even though we’ve been friends for 4 years…this is the first photo I could find of just us two aside from a paparazzi photo sooooo this will have to do for this challenge.’

Ariel’s big relationship announcement came shortly after the series finale of Modern Family premiered on ABC.

In the sitcom, which has been on the air since 2009, Winter starred as brainy daughter Alex Dunphy alongside her TV ‘siblings’ Sarah Hyland and Nolan Gould.    

She bid farewell to the series after 11 successful season by penning an emotional Instagram post to her cast of characters, as well as the show’s millions of adoring fans.

The actress wrote: ‘It’s been an amazing journey with my #ModernFamily. It’s hard to type this because it still doesn’t feel real.

‘We are all so grateful for the love we’ve received over the course of this 11 year journey. To know our fans love our family just as much as we do is the most amazing gift.’
