IN THE MONEY: AstraZeneca boss Pascal Soriot to get £7m in shares if he hits his targets

Astrazeneca boss Pascal Soriot has been granted more than £7million worth of shares.

The 60-year-old, who has been in charge of the drugs giant since 2012, will get the 96,080 shares if he meets targets – 87,346 would be tied to its performance share plan.

Soriot, a father-of-two, was paid £14.3million last year, including his £1.3million salary, £124,000 in benefits, £387,000 in pension contributions, £1.9million annual bonus and £10.5million in performance pay.
