Boohoo hopes for boost from Cara Delevingne’s new line for their Nasty Gal label
Nasty Gal has launched a collection with Cara Delevingne this week.
And retail experts hoped the supermodel’s 44million Instagram followers will give the label – which is part of online fashion retailer Boohoo’s empire – a major boost.
But the collection is already being sold at a half-price discount.

The reduction comes only a few days after 27-year-old Delevingne attended the launch.
The 40-piece collection includes sequined dresses, tiger-print miniskirts, trouser suits and crop tops under the tagline ‘always rebellious and ever-evolving’.
The gold Wild Zebra Skirt, however, has been discounted from £40 to £20, while the Big Love Velvet Dress has been cut from £60 to £30.
Boohoo said Nasty Gal was running a site-wide discount of 50 per cent, which therefore included Delevingne’s line.
Experts predict Boohoo will book £500million of sales this year, with Nasty Gal contributing close to £100million.
City analysts at Jefferies said: With such high-profile campaigns, Nasty Gal is emerging as a strong third brand in Boohoo’s stable.’
