Tech titans including Sky and Mastercard join disability drive

Tech industry titans including Sky and Mastercard have announced commitments to encourage more disabled people into the workforce.

The two firms, along with Audi and travel website Trivago, have signed up to disability inclusion programme The Valuable 500.

Founded by Caroline Casey – who is registered blind – and chaired by former Unilever boss Paul Polman, The Valuable 500 pushes companies to make their workplaces more accessible.

More than 250 of the world’s largest firms have now joined the campaign, including Aston Martin, the BBC and Google.
