DIRECTOR’S DEALS: Deputy Barratt boss Steven Boyes sells £3.7m worth of shares

The deputy boss of Barratt has sold £3.7million worth of shares in the firm.

Steven Boyes, 59, sold 435,000 shares in the house builder at 842.35p, according to regulatory filings. 

After the sale, he still held 457,890 shares’ worth about £3.9million.

Boyes has been chief operating officer at Barratt since 2012 and was made deputy CEO four years later. 

He is an industry veteran with more than 40 years of experience, all spent working his way up the ladder at Barratt where he was paid £2.9million last year.
